Besan-Cashew Khoya laddo | Festive Sweet Recipe

In my previous post ,homemade instant khoya I promised to share the recipe I made with it and it is nothing than this ladoo.This ia an addictive,tasty and delicious laddoo with besan,mawa & cashew.Sugar is used as a sweetener in it but you can also use jaggery.do try this easy sweet for Diwali and share with friends.

Makes: 12-15 ladoos

Ingredients:

  • Besan flour/kadalai mavoo-1\2 cup
  • crumbled khoya(mawa)-3\4 cup
  • sugar-1\2 cup ( adjust)
  • cashew nuts-1\4 cup
  • ghee-2 tbsp
  • cardamon powder-1\2 tsp 


Method:

1.Dry roast cashew for few seconds with our burning it.Then add a tsp of ghee and roast the besan flour well till its raw smell vanishes.Cool a bit.

2.To a dry mixer first add cashew and grind a bit,then add roasted besan flour,crumbled mawa/khoya, sugar, cardamon powder and little ghee.Grind it to a fine powder.


3.Makes balls of it. That's it tasty ladoo is ready.


Since it has milk solids consume with a day or two. For further use keep it refrigerated.

Note:

1. Instead of sugar you can even use jaggery.
