Simple Broccoli Stir Fry | Side Dish for Rice


Looking for some easy recipe with broccoli then this is the one.Try this simple stir fry and enjoy the crunches of the the florets with hot steamed rice.Here i have not used coconut you can use it for extra taste.

Ingredients:


  • Broccoli-1\4 kg
  • oil-2 tsp
  • mustard seeds-1\2 tsp
  • Green chilly-1,finely chopped
  • red chilly powder-1\2 tsp
  • turmeric powder-1\2 tsp
  • salt-to taste
  • grated coconut-2 tbsp(optional)
  • curry leaves


Method:

1.Clean the broccoli florets well and chop into small pieces.

2.Heat oil in a pan,pop out mustard seeds followed by chopped onion,green chilly and curry leaves.

3.When the onion becomes translucent add in broccoli and all dry powders.Sprinkle some water ,cover and cook for few minutes.

4.If adding add grated coconut and switch off.

Serve as side for rice along with sambar or rasam.
