Paneer Jalfrezi | Side Dish For Roti /Naan | Paneer Recipe


Paneer is one dish which is most liked my by kids and i love to try new recipes with it.While searching found this quick and easy one for roti/naan.Added with vegetables it tastes superb.


Preparation time: under 10 mins
Cooking time:15 mins
Serves: 2-3

Ingredients:


  • Paneer/Indian Cottage cheese: 1 packet (200gms)
  • Onion -2 big,thinely chopped
  • Bell pepper- 1
  • Carrot-1 
  • tomato-2 (pureed)
  • ginger garlic paste- 1 tsp
  • Red chilly powder-1 tsp
  • coriander powder-1 tsp
  • Garam masala-1\2 tsp
  • Oil -1 tbsp
  • Jeera-1\2 tsp
  • Kasuri methi crushed-1\2 tsp
  • Salt to taste



Method:

1.Cut paneer,capsicum,carrot in thin length size(Julienne cut).In a tsp of oil fry these cut paneer till it get little browned.Then keep it aside.Puree two tomato in a mixer.

2.In a kadai/pan add remaining oil and jeera seeds.Then drop sliced onion and ginger garlic paste.Saute till onion becomes translucent and raw smell of GG goes.

3.Then add in carrot followed by all dry ingredients and saute a while.Then pour the tomato puree to it with some water and cook for some time.

4.When its 1\2 cooked drop in the bell pepper and sauted paneer and cook till everything blends well.




5.Lastly crush some kasuri methi to it and switch off.

Serve hot with roti/naan.
