Chocolate Mousse ( no gelatin ,no agar-agar) | Easy Easter Dessert Recipe | Mousse Recipe


Hallelujah The saviour has risen, lets all sing praise and glory to The Lord. Happy Easter to one and all.On this special day i share with you an easy mousse recipe which i tried from here.I halved the recipe.My kids loved it.







Preparation time: 10 mins
cooking time: 10 mins
Recipe source:spice up the curry

Ingredients:

Semi sweet chocolate-1\2 cup
Butter-2 tbsp
Instant coffee powder-1\2 tsp
Whipping cream-1\2 cup
vanilla essence-1\2 tsp


Method:

1.Take the chocolate,butter and coffee powder in a bowl,boil it by keeping on top of heating water in a pan(double boiling method).In few minutes the chocolate will melt  mix everything well and remove from heat.Let it cool a bit.

2.Meanwhile whip the cream to soft peaks using hand blender\ whisk.Add vanilla essence and mix.Take some of the cream for topping.



3.To the remaining add the chocolate mixture and gently fold in.

4. Transfer it to the serving glass or bowl and keep in the fridge for 2 hours to set.



5.While serving top it with the reserved cream.sprinkle some chocolate and serve.
