Quinoa Lentils rice crepes/Thinnai Adai | Healthy Breakfast | Recipe with thinnai/quinoa

I try to include almost all cereals in food mostly in breakfast.Kids most like dosai very much so try to make dosai with almost all cereals check recipe index for various dosai variety with many cereals.Adai is nothing but cereals with lentils together and the batter needs no fermentation.



Ingredients:


  • quinoa-1 cup
  • idli rice-1\4 cup
  • channa dal-1\4 cup
  • toor dal-1\4 cup
  • urad dal-1\4 cup
  • hing powder-1 tsp
  • Red chillies-3-4
  • ginger-small piece
  • curry leaves- few
  • Onion chopped- from 1 medium sized.
  • salt-to taste
  • oil- as needed






Method:

1.Wash & soak rice and thinnai,all dals together for 3-4 hrs with red chilly.

2.Drain the water and make first grind red chilly , ginger with dals to a coarse form then add rice and quinoa .Add enough water make a batter,pouring consistency.Don't add more water.

3.To the ground batter add chopped onion,curry leaves,hing powder and salt.Mix well.

4.Heat a dosa pan/tawa and pour a ladle of batter and spread to from circle.Drizzle oil on the sides of the dosa.

5.When cooked on on side flip over to cook the other side.When you see brown spots here and there the adai is done.

Transfer and serve with your favourite side dish either chutney/sambar/aviyal.
