I just love sweets and go crazy for it.For a long time i want to make wheat halwa, but it need more stirring and quite difficult too .While searching got this recipe from here.Try this easy method and i am sure u will love it.

Preparation time :5mins
Cooking time : 20mins
Recipe type:sweet
Recipe cuisine :Indian
Author :Babitha
Serves :2

Ingredients:

  • wheat/atta flour- 1\2 cup
  • sugar- 1\2 cup
  • ghee-1\3 cup
  • water- 3\4 cup
  • almond slice to garnish

Method:

1.In a non-stick pan add half of the ghee and dry roast it until a nice aroma comes. This step is a must else there will be a raw smell of the flour.

2.Heat  water side (or  MW water for 2  mins) and add it to the roasted wheat flour and mix, they will be lumps but keep on stirring.

3.Then add the sugar and keep mixing,it will dissolve and become a mass.

4.Add the rest of the ghee and garnish with almonds.

It was very filling.Serve hot.

P.S. Sorry for the poor pictures bare with me,lighting was not good.

Note:

1.If u prefer add some food colour while adding water.

2.You can re-heat it and eat it warm if needed.

3.If u prefer u can add more ghee.
